The Queensland Sciencentre was born on 13 October 1989, but opened in its current premises in September 1992. In its short history it has established a reputation for presenting quality exhibitions and programs and for servicing the needs of teachers and the education community and is becoming increasingly recognised as a valuable community resource.
The Queensland Sciencentre is situated in the beautifully restored Former Government Printery a heritage building located in the heart of the Brisbane central business district.
