Cynthia Verspaget has been a practicing artist for over 10 years, originating from Victoria Australia, her work has encompassed notions and issues of ownership of space, be it body spaces or locale. Formal qualifications include a BA of Fine Arts completed at Curtin University of Technology and currently MSc Anatomy (Visual arts & Science Communications) at The University of Western Australia. Cynthia was most recently an artist in residence at SymbioticA where the Anarchy Cell Line was researched and developed under funding from ArtsWA, LotteryWest and Beapworks.
