In 1991 I began work in collaboration with the computer scientist Jean-Philippe Massonie on "The Computer Virus Project"- an artistic experiment with computer viruses. In 2002 I extended this experimentation into viral artificial life through my collaboration with the C++ programmer Stephane Sikora of music2eye in a work called the Computer Virus Project II (inspired by the a-life work of John Horton Conway). I am looking to work with someone on a new approach to general cellular automata so as to extend the viral form as art.
