By intentionally blurring visual distinctions between
male and female, microbe and human, organic and syn-
thetic, my work provokes a heightened awareness of one’s
own body, particularly around issues of sexuality and mor-
tality . Lately I've been designing species of excess that visually manifest their complicated nature via a plethora of limbs , protruding
body parts and most importantly a multitude of genitalia.
