New Listener is an ongoing series of interactive audio works designed for the internet.
Based on the principle of the listener being able to "adjust" a work to preference, the pieces create themselves in real time rather than through streaming fixed audio data such as from a CD or sound file.
The role of the listener is brought into sharp focus through an ability to adjust the work, creating a customiseable listening experience that nevertheless retains its formal integrity.
