The Neo-Pointillist Project comes out of 3 years as a chief investigator on an Australian Research Council large grant project into formative pixel structures in computer generated images, modelling form by employing an optical mix of the primary colours.
A basic method using commands in commercial software package works well so long as the primaries - RGB and CYM, either together or separately - are applied in a regular formation. It allows considerable controlled variation in modelling form and enables substantial enlargement with out deterioration of form. The method does not work in random distribution.
